Intresting today in our sunday paper Dish network had a full page ad on their service. I am guessing they bought add space around the country.

I also noticed they had ad time and were a sponser during the FOX football game earlier this week

The one that says "We dont carry NFL ST and here is why we wont ever?"

I've seen a few of them in the Minneapolis paper

Yes. Dish's stated reasons for not having ST are true, but they are a bit disingenuous because the real reason they have never had and likely never will have ST is because they can't afford it.:). If one doesn't have deep enough pockets, then one should use the "saving you money," which is also true, excuse for not having ST. This is also true for MLB Extra Innings; the cost was out of Dish's "league" as Dish does not belong to the DPMCL (Deep Pocket Media Conglomerate League) :).

I believe their ad also asks the rhetorical question why anyone would subscribe to Directv or any other service. I think the above answers that question for the most part.

However, they can afford to run full page ads to spin their story...
