FYI~Another Charlotte station goes the way of HD!

Just a FYI...WBTV CBS channel 3 in Charlotte updated their studio and turned on the HD cams sometime over the week-end...NICE!

Charlotte now has 3 of the "big 4" networks broadcasting local news in HD.
The only one that has not upgraded is WCNC NBC channel 36.

The first one to go HD was WSOC ABC last year. They spent more money on their equipment than any other station here. If memory serves, in the area of 10 million dollars to upgrade. Of course they got HD tower cams, studio cams, and field cams, along with a flashy studio.
