Von Weise did make replacement parts at one time. That indicates to me that linear actuators had a wear problem. I think any of the three, if bad enough could effect the count. The replacement parts listed in my old schematic are:


Timing gear kit
Thrust Bearing Kit
Screw Kit

Replacement motor is listed too. But I don't think that would change the count.


I suspect my count change problem is related to the shielding on the wiring. I think the shielding might be broken somewhere and is letting stray signals of some sort in which change the count. I would have to dig up 150' of wiring to replace it. It's not bad enough yet for me to do all that digging, so I'll live with it:D
