Genie and Home Network

Called DTV Sunday and got them to send me a Genie and a mini Genie for free. Don't know which Genie I'll be getting, so here's my question. Right now I have my main HR-24 hooked up to my home network with an Ethernet cable into switch. When I get the Genie and the mini, can I still use this setup to connect to the internet since I am having the Whole Home DVR Service activated? Thanks for your help with this.

I'm surprised that DirecTV is sending the Genie for a self install. But you should be good, but that would be an unsupported setup.
I'd have DirecTV install the Genie and client.
