question:

Would replacing a HD DVR with a Genie client save any money on the bill? Already have the necessary equipment just some of it not activated or deactivated yet.

Thanks

No, it's the same cost, $6/month. The charges for hd and for dvr service are separate, but the extra box charge, whether a client, dvr, or receiver, are the same.

Thanks.

I was hoping the customer service agent was wrong.

your better off without the client. the lack of a tuner makes it worthless imho

now if it had no monthly cost then maybe it would be worth it

Was trying to save a little money without doing anything drastic. Doesn't seem possible without flat out eliminating a receiver/client of any kind.
