Genie Fast Forward ?

What speed(s) are available in Fast Forward on the Genie. Dish Hoppers were 4x,15x, 60x, and 300x. With the new Carbon interface they dropped the 4x.

I don't remember off hand.
I believe it was 4 speeds, and I think it was just 1, 2, 3, 4.
You could FF, and RR those.
Plus the 30 second slip, or skip depending what you have it set on, You could press it multiple times in a row and it would add up those 30 seconds each So say press it really fast 6 times, and you skipped the entire commercial .

It was nice option actually.

Genie has an equivalent Hopper 4x speed, plus the skip to tick feature which is nice, too.

me too. i like to know when i've gone too far so i can use the 6s rewind.

I use the FF 2x function most of the time when skipping commercials. When you press play it automatically rewinds a few seconds so it always ends up resuming right after the commercials have ended.

D* doesn't have a Jump to Live function.

There is no Jump to live button, but if you are fast forwarding you can press the Skip/Slip forward button (While fast forwarding) and you will jump forward to the next index point you can do this multiple times to quickly get to live instead of waiting for the Fast Forward to get back to live.
