GEOSATpro 100c issue...

This box won't pick up ANYTHING...tried factory reset, tried Glorystar mode, tried All Satellites mode.

I know the dish aligment and cabling is good, because it is used for another FTA box, but when I tried connecting this older box for a friend to see if it works, I can't seem to get it to pull in anything?

Unless I'm doing something completely wrong in trying to blind scan? I've tried different corresponding freq and SR, but whenever I scan, NOTHING shows up. Could it be a dead box, or am I missing something?

Check the LNB IN port for voltage. Is it outputting 13Vdc on vertical transponders and 18Vdc on horizontal (+/- 10%)?

Measure the voltage between the coax fitting and the center conductor with a multimeter set to a 20 - 50Vdc scale.

Switch between a vertical and horizontal channel or transponder.

Well, according to my volt meter, the output from the LNB port is only measuring about 5.9 - 7.7 volts, whereas my good box, the output is just under 18 volts.

So, does this indicate a bad unit? Trash, scrap, or is there something that can be done to remedy?

Maybe as an alternative to disposal, contact Satellite AV support and send it in for repair?
