Looks like you have multiple fixed dishes, or LNBs? What LNBs are you using and what DISEqC switch?
The 22 Khz setting will go to auto and be grayed out if you have a universal LNB Lo set in the settings, like one with a Lo of 9750/10600 will be Auto and grayed out so it can't be changed. If the LNB Lo is not universal, like 10750, then you can change the 22 Khz setting. Make sure your Lo is set to whatever it should be for the LNB, of course. If you're only using a DISEqC switch and no standalone 22Khz switches, whatever the receiver sets the 22 Khz to should work, if the right LNB Lo is set in the receiver.
For the DISEqC Mode, I'd consider using DISEqC 1.1 if you do have multiple LNBs, instead of DISEqC1.0. With the 1.0, you can only have four dishes on A, B, C and D unless you play around with the 22Khz switching, which won't work with universal LNBs. With the DISEqC 1.1 you can have 1-16 LNBs and just leave the 22Khz at whatever the receiver defaults to for your LNB, hook a cable to port 1 on the DISEqC switch and then set the receiver to DISEqC 1.1, port 1. Then the next LNB cable to port 2 on the DISEqC switch and receiver set to DISEqC 1.1 port 2, and so on for all the rest.

When viewing TV, if I want to go from channel 2 to 3, I have to press the down button.
That makes sense when the list is displayed on the screen, because the higher channel numbers are lower in the list, but when just watching TV it's backwards to every TV I know.
I use a multi switch 8 dishes and 24 outputs, The firmware is the trouble as microHD works and the Manhattan 1997 which use some of
the same code works. Cband = 5150 2port lnbf, Kuband= 10750 2port lnbf. All of this was covered in an early post. Also I see a lot of the Apps in xbmc have errors in 1107 that were not happening past

Personally, i would recommend GEOSATpro 1x8 DiSEqC switch, but in my case i am abusing 4x1 with 2x1 22Kz switches. So is this hypocritical LOLWith linear LNBs, he should be able to do this, right?

Yes, this would work. I would set each dish (and motor) up separately and directly connecting to the receiver, then, once all setups are done, i would connect switches.

Also, it has been addressed in the test firmware 1107. (the 1107 is temporary test for HD playback and recording)I noticed that also in previous firmware but working correctly now with firmware 1045.
Yup, some can handle both too, like mine I use here and definitely some switches aren't compliant, all are definitely not created equal. Rick, post what brand/model your switch is, if you can, please.
The problem he's having is trying to set DISEqC 1.0 positions so to have two positions each for A, B, C and D and have one position for A, B, C and D with 22khz off and one position for each with 22khz on, so on selects one LNB, off another, but the receiver sets both positions to either 22khz on, or both to off.
With linear LNBs, he should be able to do this, right? I haven't used DISEqC 1.0 much at all because to me, DISEqC 1.1 is much better, so I could be wrong in thinking he can do this.

to diseqc 1.0. As all you have talked about is single output diseqc, to have a 24 output system that way would not be cost effective.

The HDVR3500 replaces a MicroHD the microHD worked with the system, The HDVR3500 firmware seems to find the satellite when selecting
FTA. In the EU that would be auto diseqc 2.0 and not 1.0 all other box I have in use are 1.0 and will not find satellites until programmed for proper diseqc. This would not effect a single output system unless you combine 1.0/1.1/22khz in large setup or use a 2.0 switch.
So please try a firmware release that will not auto diseqc. just subjecting an action or remity.

Wow, I see where you're getting the A,B,C and D from now. Sorry, I'd thought you were talking about DISEqC 1.0 A,B,C and D settings in the receiver itself, but I now see you mean ports on a switch similar to this one:
I've never used a switch like this myself, afraid I can't be much help to you on this one.
Config file is generated automatically basically pointing to the directory where the file is installed. I would say let's check it out.Maybe include a config file with the zip?
