My receiver will not update from Galaxy 97 satellite. I have good signal.

Signal low on Horizontal side:

11874 H 22000--44%
11911 H 10525--44%
all the horizontal are 44 percent

The vertical side are 71%.

11867 V 22000

Why so many transponders for just to update the firmware?



What is the PID download is for anyway?



How do you know it update?



Would it be the product version code (HDVS54012-1108249A0 2012-8-20)?

The uplink facility had a weather related event today and not all services are restored. A major storm took out or severely attenuated many transponders uplinked from Pennsylvania today.

The microHD currently updates on transponder 12115. We will work with the engineer tomorrow to restore the tables on that transponder.

The update is once again in the stream on G19, 12115, PID 330

The receiver can tune any TP that is available in the 97w KU G19 transponder list.

The PID is the data stream ID that carries the update. Each audio, video and data stream has an ID. Video streams are VPID, Audio streams are APID, etc.
