Getting rid of equipment

Is it possible to sell a month old 311 receiver or is the unit itself "married" to me?

If u own it, you can sell it!!!!! If u leased it, then Dish owns it. Ebay among many other places are good for selling.

OK thanks, I do own it....just wasn't sure if there was a smart card issue or something.

Smart card is 'married' to the receiver not to your account. If you remove the receiver from the account, the smart card stays with the receiver.
