The tax increases the state approved early today (4am) do NOT include a services tax for satellite/cable TV.
I know the slide on D* channel 352 indicated this was a major consideration and urged customers to call their representatives.
On a side note - they also spared the tax increase on sporting events, which was also a heated issue.
On the other side, services for personal escorts will now have a 6% service tax levied, how unfortunate.
