Got denied to change out Joey to super Joey. WHY??

If all Hoppers and Joeys are in Ethernet mode, have their own IP address, does this take some strain off the MoCA so it is not all maxed out allowing streaming between Hoppers and Joeys to be more reliable?
If I'm not mistaken, you can connect Hoppers and/or Joeys with ethernet (vs standard coaxial cable), but Dish doesn't "support" it. Same with a Joey being on wireless. It works, but is again unsupported.

Companies can have different levels...
- Supported
- It works but is unsupported
- It may work or may not but we definitely won't support it and will in fact restrict allowing it in our system for internal reasons.

Like Hopper system and VIP on same account?

It definitely works (if installed right) but they don't allow it.

Yes, because they can...
Speaking of that combination, and it's been out long enough now, does anyone know why Dish won't allow it ? It doesn't affect me, so I don't care what the reason is, just curious. I do understand that whatever reason Dish has for it, some will "dispute" it's validity though....
