Not ironic. The search string expired. It must be that the forum software causes a search to expire.Ironically, your link says no matches!There are 4 relevant threads I found when using "triangle" in the search engine.
Ya know i just realized that when you put the curser in the guide over the arrow, it literally says press select to view ondemand.

Does anyone know what the white triangle or arrow that appears in the upper right corner of some channels means? This appears on the guide where the station call letters are. Never noticed it before and DTV has no idea when I asked them about it. Just curious.
It indicates that channel has vod available. FYI, there are several threads already on this topic.

Isn't there a message about on demand when you highlight the channel number info in the guide? I've seen it briefly at least.
