Guide Wrong?

one channel Eastern arch.
Dish blames the programming provider.
The information is about six hours ahead.
cannot be fixed.
Just one channel.
This channel always experiences technical issues (goes off air) often on Dish.
Now the guide information is wrong.
First noticed last night.
Today still wrong as in off by six hours.
Updated guide didn't help.
Times of programs all wrong.
This is on Hopper 3.
No other issues that I know of.
Puzzling??

Usually it's the Company they have provide thier guide info.
I'm not sure who it is for them any more.

I've never noticed any errors like this in guide information.
It's just one channel.
I'll mostly lump it until it fixes gets fixed.
Hopefully it gets fixed.

My guide in western arc on that channel is exactly correct. Considering both arcs use the same guide I have no idea why yours seems to be incorrect.

This channel has had ISSUES before.

This channel on eastern arch for me is having audio dropouts.

During prime time, 6pm to 10 pm central time weeknights when the talk shows normally air, the programs in the guide do match up with what is being shown.

6pm to 10 pm central time weeknights when the talk shows normally air is about the only time the programming information in the guide matches up.

My guides is showing the different talk shows running almost 24/7.

There is a free version of this channel like Newsmax 2.

Maybe the guide got the information for the free version of the channel that is mostly the talk shows and not the live channel? IDK

I don't have western arch so I can't check that.

I ran a check switch and my guide information was updated but something is wrong.

The guide is showing talk shows at 10pm when news normally runs from 10pm until 2 am.

It's 10 PM and news is showing but the guide is showing the talk shows.

The broadcaster hasn't changed their schedule.

If I was wrong about something it would not be the first time.

Hard to understand my babble.

The wrong guide information for satellite channel 212 matches the non live free version of that channel found elsewhere (streaming).

Whoever is supplying the information for Dish's guide for channel 212, and as far as I know only channel 212, is supplying the programming information for the non live free version of the channel which is the wrong information for the actual live channel that is being broadcast on Dish.

Not related to satellite, but with TABLO the ota dvr. I wrote to them to update channels we had in our area they didn't give guide information for . It was like several sub channels like Heroes, Laff, Mystery,Grit, Qvc, HSN etc. After waiting a month they agreed and added the guide information for all those channels. But the one channel I wanted which was Heroes, was on Pacific time. So all the guide information was wrong and useless for recording. I wrote back to inform them and they told me they weren't going to try to get time zone information correct for those channels at this time. TABLO is a Canadian company, so it's not just DISH that doesn't care about the guide being right.

Channel 212 on eastern arch has had many outages, picture issues, audio issues, and now guide information issues.
It is illogical to watch programs with the wrong guide information.
I sure hope guide issue for channel 212 will get fixed.

I looked at this further and I do see what you are seeing. Right now 7:56AM PDT they are showing OAN News but the guide shows a talk show. I looked at Titan TV and they are showing OAN news in this time slot.

Good News. This morning the programing information on channel 212 appears to be back to the correct information. I'm glad Dish corrected the issue.

Well, Mike was well justified in his sarcasm and skepticism. He and I both hounded DISH for years to correct the guide data on our locals, which had changed station ID. It was finally achieved by one of the DISH reps on satguys with no small effort on his/her part.
