No you have to reboot the box, hit 0 2 4 6 8 when you see the first blue screen.

thanks i just tried that...and it downloaded something, i didn't notice any changes though...so for this new firmware, will i have to do this tomorrow as well to get the latest firmware or will i have to do it at 2:30am this morning, or is it still going to be around at like 7:30am?

There were a few people that had problems, very small percentage ....
Those that thought they had "Bricked" thier unit were able to get back going with some help from others (Don't know where the Bricked term came from ....

"Bricked" means that the unit is as functional as something that gets mortared up and put in a wall.
