hauppauge hvr 1600 card

is there a program that can get mn you satellites with this tv card?
it came only with the program to receive off the air tv.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "can get mn you satellites".

I use my 1600 card with MythTV on Ubuntu Linux to record from my satellite receiver via the S-video connection. MythTV is terrific - it has name based recording, and can create DVD images.

I've signed up to Schedules Direct for my TV schedules. That way I can record all the CFL football games.

But, if you're looking for a way to connect your 1600 directly to a satellite dish, I have no idea.
