I've got this one sitting on the do something later pile. Never did remove the transmitter, but the stock .6 KU was outstanding on this 1.2M dish.

Dan,
You showed this head lamp with red LEDs on pictures : 1, 6, 8-10.
What's the use of it? Even if the dish would reflect this red light, then, you could get a beam (borehole) of parallel rays going out in space.
So, what's the advantage of it?

I put that light on the lnb to test it at night to get the center of the dish try it out last summer. It worked pretty good.
