Nope. The question wasn't about comparing CA prices to US prices. It was about comparing what they pay now against what they paid before ala carte.

Prices are higher, taxes are higher, salaries are higher, dollar value is lower, tv packages are different. That's a lot of variables to consider. I guess you could compare tv package prices as a percentage of take home pay. My guess is that the costs in Canada are no higher than here, and may even be lower.

No. The package prices are in their dollars too, so it's a wash. The higher package prices are proportionally higher with the higher salaries in those same dollars.
