Hello Need Imput

Hi all
I am the new guy here and need some info. I have heard that sat sys are very slow on downloads and uploads. Is this correct? Also does anyone know how well I could play video games over a sat? I play on a Playstation 2. I would need to connect with EA Sports and other servers.

Satellite internet...If you are a gamer, you will not be happy. There is definitely a fair amount of "latency", which is: a time delay between the moment something is initiated, and the moment one of its effects begins or becomes detectable.
