I have an RV . I took my receiver from bedroom ( H24-200).. I bought a portable dish from Satellite Oasis( DTV18SKIT) everything says that it's compatible with my receiver. I go to the set up screen ( DISH TYPE: 18" round
SWITCH TYPE: Multiswitch
When I hit "continue" it searches and then says Signal could not be found... What am I doing wrong!!

The dish has a 18LNBRO-02 on it.. I see two cable hook ups coming from LNB.. It goes directly into receiver at SAT IN spot

What are your expectations from this set up ?

This is an old Standard Def dish set up, you'll likely get the 101 sat only.

That dish/LNB will work fine with an H24. You setup in the menus right, it is multiswitch, and dish option 1 for single. Make sure you have not put in a power inserter, those are only for SWM setups which this is not.

Short of that, you need to aim the dish.
Use the zip code in the receiver (or website) to get the coordinate / elevation to aim at, and use a compass to ensure you are pointed to the right place. Move slowly.

If your first time, watch a couple youtube videos on how to aim the dish.

You will only need to use one of the two connections on the dish LNB, the second is if you had a DVR or wanted to hookup a second receiver.
