HELP---Fortec classic set_up

New at this so please dont think im stupid.Tried to set up a fortec classic all day. I also have a fortec 30" dish H-H motor. I rec gal 10r fairlywell. When i go east sats dont come in strong enough to do a scan. IM wide open from south to s west. made adjustments on Elev and azm till ive turned BLUE. ANY HELP APPR.

Make sure the pole or dish is rotated correctly and the whole structure is leveled.

when you are tracking the arc and missing the sats , and like mentioned above "pole is plumb and level" you can adjust the motor to hit the arc. this would mean the motor isn't level or just slightly off. this is done by slightly twisting the motor.

sometimes your adjustment is a tradeoff to get the best signal over several satellites but most likely if your missing the arc your satellites east will be low or high and to the west will be exactly opposite.

your motor manual should show how to adjust this. if not i can find a post with it listed
