help please

new here and at fta I have a viewsat ultra 2000 38in dish fta lnb my problem is i can not get dish to move by receiver.i can do manually on motor on dish itself [wich is on roof] can someone tell me how to program into receiver.nest? is i get sats. but don,t seem to get all fta channels pose to get do i have do put something in reciever to do this.rember new at this and dumb as a rock :0)

I'm not familiar with that receiver but have you setup the receiver to do with Diseqc or (preferably) USALS? If your motor and receiver has USALS capability it's a piece of cake, you just enter in your Latitude and it will figure itself out basically. Check your manual for that receiver; if you don't have it, check our manuals section.
