I have a close buddy who is a senior software engineer; he has an AirTV Mini. It would not take an update. He uses it for Sling, so he hit the reset; now he can't pair his remote with the AirTV Mini. Super smart guy, and it's driving him up the wall. It's not the price; it's the challenge. He tried everyting and AI is also too dumb to suggest a way.

I think this is the box that receives ATSC v1 broadcasts OTA and acts like a DVR and can also stream content to other mobile devices.

I don't see the dual tuner USB OTA dongle which was compatible with the Hopper 3 that I bought a decade ago for my Locals. Ran cooler than the Dish OTA dongle.

That was Aereo. AirTv is owned by Dish Network, and was/is a couple OTA tv tuners with internet guide.

While the remote thinks it is paired, it isn't. He probably needs to reset the remote as well so that it can be re-paired.
