So guys what's the best way to keep my timer(s)? And can I move my recordings over to a external drive without paying the hard drive fee? Thx
Back them up to your remote and then restore to the H3. What I found for this to work in the past is to let the new box get completely setup guide and all. Then do a reset and do the restore.
One word of caution don't let the tech take your existing remote until this is done!! Or better yet, see if he will leave it with you.

Call specialist number. I tried chat, 45 min could not process, regular dish number said not available yet, but the specialist taking care of me.
Ok, specialist just said they could not process my order? Said she worked with her supervisor and management but they are having technical difficulties processing and to call back later. Said management working it.

Maybe issue with configuration of what I want? 1xH3, 2 x 4k joey, 1 x 2.0 joey, 1 x wireless joey, and I already own a wireless joey...again, they said they could not process due to technical glitch?

Any thoughts guys? On flip side, there is no charge for me to upgrade or install the above, just can't get processed for some reason in their system.

The tech is not going to take your old receiver so why do you think he'd want the remote.
