Hopper and purchased/non active joey communication

Hi,

i have one hopper and two joey ...one joey activated..no issue ,second joey has all correct wiring (purchased)for future guest ,i was told by dish rep that nonactived joey can see/play dvr from hopper if wiring done correct.....but i cannot see dvr content but giving message to active joey...1303 or something..like that...


any suggestion...

I have to believe the sales rep gave you bad info.

If it were that easy one could watch everything on a delay via the DVR and not pay the monthly fee. But i could be mistaken.

Definetly incorrect. 1303 means the Joey can't link to that Hopper but if the Joey isn't active on your account then you should be seeing the 1318 pop up.
