How do you do a "master reset" on DTV box?

I have a DirecTV "simple" box, model D12-300, that I use in my home with my Slimline 5-LNB antenna (along with 3 other receivers). I was trying to see if I could hook it up to a stand alone 18-inch round dish so I could use it in my camper. When I went to change the antenna to the 18-in round, though, that (and several "non Slimline" choices) were greyed out, and I could not slect them as the antenna. Now on the "slimline setting", there is no output voltage being output to power the LNB (well, my meter read 0.28V). I figure if I can do a "master reset", so I can then choose the 18-in round, then it will power the LNB on the stand alone antenna. Can anyone tell me how to do such a master reset so I can selet the 18-in antenna?
 
With the slimline the D12 has to output voltage, it looks more like it detected a short and shut down the power supply. Unplugging AC and removing cables will hopefully reset voltage output.
