cell phone and dtv

I was wanting to subscribe to Directv but I only have cell phone service. What would they say, since I don't have a landline?

They don't care, order away - only thing you can't do is order PPV from the remote, but you CAN still do it online...

I have had Directv for over 8 years now and have never had them hooked up to a phone line.

If you have Broadband with a router you can hook up Ethernet cables to the DVR's. This will replace a phoneline and also give you On Demand.
