I can buy Dish through COSTCO; I can call a variety of toll free numbers; this forum has numerous vendors; so bottom line, what do we do: to get HD, how many dishes will it mean on my roof, do all the retailers carry the exact same package/specials ie VOOM switching offers?
Oh yeah buying verses leasing? I read it as if leasing still means putting out $250 per receiver to get equipment. That eq, will it be upgradeable to mpeg4? will it be obsolete in a year?
DirecTV has progressed very little since I left in 2003, so now Dish has profited from J.Dolan's folly. I am now accepting of this "golden"parachute, albeit nothing in comparison to the "could have been" Voom. I just want to get the best grasp on what the US choices are. Thanks
