How to upgrade software on SAT-HD200 ?

Last week I bought a SAT-HD200 Sony High Difinition Receiver. All Works well but I noticed that the software on the receiver is March of 2002. Wow...How do I upgrade the software on the receiver? I called Directv and they said it was a Sony Problem..If anyone knows I would certainly appreciate it.

Leave it connected to the satellite dish if there is a software upgrade it will download. Directv unlike DISH does not constantly upgrade software, they only do upgrades when it is needed.
