Ok I have searched alot of places. Not sure on the exact date but lets says 8/08/09 all my recoreded programs befor that work fine anything recoreded after freezes the reciever. Also if I pause a program or rewind fastforward etc. it freezes. at first I thought maybe a badd HDD but why would my older prgrams would also play poorly but they dont it is only after a certain date. I have reset the reciver and did the 2 4 6 8 to manually update I think it says 312 but I may have to look I have called D* but no luck. Any help or suggestions would be great.

How full is your hard drive? You could try deleting all or most of your old programs. Have you done a pull the plug reset? If you have the protection program tell D* it is dead, and get a new one.

Not to full, No I have not, and no dont have the plan I think it is software related but no way to check I think

It was the HDD bought new one at best buy all is well so thanks to all that helped.
