I have an HTS Tracker System 4 that was part of an old C-band setup. It won't turn on when I plug it in (the transformer's humming though, so I know it's got juice).

Is this thing worth anything to anyone? Would it be worth $15?

Unless you found someone that really wanted/needed that model for parts locally, it will be hard to even give it away, as they cost around $20+ to ship. Just not many people using them anymore as technology marches forward.

Plan B - anything really scavengable, parts wise from these?

I'm starting to get into electronics/homebrew building things, and am always on the lookout for things to cannibalize. I'll have to get a manual and start seeing what I can pull out of it.

Thanks!

I had a system tracker V receiver for a while. It has 2 uses

-dish mover (big dish)
-get about 6 or 7 analog channels out there

These were nice in thier day...seems like I remember it was prone to power supply failure.
