I made the switch to D*....my first impressions.

Does the wireless solution work just for net connectivity for widgets (doubt I'll DL much content). I have both HR24s next to the one TV so dont really need MRV but have no coax near them. Installer said no and didn't leave a wireless unit, just the DECA.

Wireless works for everything, including MRV. Installer probably didn't leave a wireless unit because D* doesn't give them away and I don't think they even sell them anymore. I just use a Linksys wireless N router ($30) converted to a bridge using DD-WRT. It's cheap and I can connect multiple things to it like a Roku and Blu-ray player as well.
