How do I determine if this LNB will work on 1000.4 dish? Also, I found this wiring diagram for the western arc. Is this correct?

So do I have a 1000.4? Also, the pic I sent that showed which satellite corresponded with the coax outlet was incorrect?
Your photos show a 1000.4 dish. The 1000.2 does not have the elevation fine tuning rod. Your port identification photo is correct, although with a DPP LNB it's pretty much irrelevant since the receiver controls the satellite selection using switching built in to the LNB. Any of the LNB ports can receive any of the sats. Except the input port of course...

Which port do I attach my incoming coax to? Is it possible that the built in switch can go bad? What type of symptoms would it exhibit?
Are you attaching a side dish to pick up another satellite? That coax would go on port 4 of a 1000.4 WA LNB. The symptoms of a bad switch might be that one or more output ports don't work if the LNB works at all. Which receiver are you using?
