Yup, lets cross fingers and hope that everything goes ok on this...
Basically as you guys know Voom just had a price hike, and word is that if you change your channels you would go into the new pricing structure, Well.. I currently have:
Basic service + 1 premium channel (PlayboyHD)
Well I been wanting to change the 1 premium I have to HBO instead, but I didnt want to get this new $19.95 (per premium) fee.. I want to keep the $14.95.
The reson I didnt make any changes before this was that my billing had been screwed and I didnt want to risk any more billing issues, so this whole price hike really caught me off guard (thanks for the notice Voom)
so I called to find out if it was possible, turns out that it's possible to make changes to your account and still preserve the old pricing if you enquire about it, I was told by CSR & their supervisor that I would retain my old $14.95 pricing for changing premiums, I was rather inquisitive about it too. So i figured I'd give it a shot, now I have:
Basic service + 1 premium channel (HBO)
My account pricing was preserved, no change whatsoever.... Be sure they note it in your account & hurry up, they said its only for a couple of days that is possible, so if you are willing to try, now its the time...
anyway, just a heads up for those willing to gieve it a shot. (for whats worth I called back again and they say that my pricing was still the same indeed + the website shows the changes I've made and it still retained the old pricing)
