Inactivity timer????

For the Hopper I believe it's under Updates or something like that.

It is in the Updates menu. (Yellow - 9 - 6)

Other receiver - Menu - Preferences - Updates.

FWIW, my inactivity timer has NEVER worked on my Hoppers, but it does work on my Joeys. I have mine set for 4 Hours and my Hopper NEVER goes into stand by even after many hours longer than that, while the Joeys do go to stand by right on time. Any others have Hoppers whose inactivity setting won't work?

Once a tech was here and the Hopper turned off. I had to show him how to disable it. Yes, it is hard to find.

Mine is set to two hours, and it doesn't turn off half the time. Sometimes it will. Sometimes I get back from college, 6 hours later, and the hopper is still going. Never noticed on a Joey till last night when I just ignored it the entire night and came back into my office, and it was off.

I hate to continue on a answered thread but, how much of a difference does it make if it's on or off power wise?
