INCREASING BRIGHTNESS HR-24 FRONT PANEL

I read in earlier posts that holding down the left side of the light circle and clicking the right side will dim lighting on the front panel. how do I increase brightness of the front panel display??

When you reset set it or RBR, it boots at max brightness. If you touch the right and left arrows on the front at the same time, it will decrease all the way down, then go back to its brightest. It will keep doing this as many times as you hit the arrows at the same time. I always keep mine on the lowest setting with all the lights on.

Just to add make sure that you're not on an interactive (sports) channel or it won't work. I just hit 2 to go to channel 2 when I want to adjust the ring of lights.
