Right now we have dish network,and we might be switching to directv. When the installer comes, will he be able to take the dish network dish off the roof? I was also wondering when returning the dish network receivers to dish, would I have to also return the lnbs back to dish? Thank you all for you help!

Sometimes DISH wants the LNB back.

Depending on what DISH dish you have, the Ka/Ku Dishes will fit on the larger DISH masts so there will be no addl holes. The smaller dishes will also interchange. The tech will want to use a DTV 18" but the masts and dishes will work.

DISH used better cable. Use it.
