There are no 24/7 stations on 37.5W for the US (T11)
and where the hell is I801? Dont see it on Lyngsat

According to Sathint, nothing at all on 29.5W since 2010. http://www.sathint.com/29.5W Satbeams has no listings either. In addition, it seems that satellite is old and having problems, which would explain the lack of stations: http://www.tbs-satellite.com/tse/online/sat_intelsat_801.html

I found one Ku-band feed late last year or early this year on 37.5W for a church. Haven't seen another one since.

I doubt if you'd get anything C-band wise with a one meter on 37.5 (if those channels are still up there). Nigeria is in DVB-S2, so that's probably out of the question. Ghana is supposedly up in DVB-S and receivable with a 100-110 cm dish minimum. So maybe you could get Metro TV?
