I have a job interview tomorrow at Dish network as an installer. I have been laid off from my last job (network admin) for about 6 months and I am willing to do anything. I have installed my share of A/V in the past 5 years for both residential and businesses as well. I just thought I would check out the forum and get an idea of what i may be getting myself into. The job is hourly not piece meal and I am hoping I can take there work van home to safe wear/tear/gas.

Thats about it. (also cant get into installers forum so i am posting this here.)

Good luck with the interview. My husband started out part time installing, and moved up over the past five years to a manager's position. It's a good job if you care about what you are doing and are nice to the customers.

Again, good luck, and hope you find the site fun and interesting!
