For my living room, we have or electronics hidden out of sight including our AV receiver, DVD player and our HD TiVo. I currently have the terk leapfrog but it doesn't work. Is there any hardwire solution where each device can have it's own IR repeater wire. I've seen in other peoples setups where there are litlle things attached to the IR sensor of each electronic device. Am I clear? Does someone have a link to where I can get one or any suggestions to what would be the best way to go? From where the sensor would be that receives signals from the remote (the box that receives signals from the remote) the wires would only have to run about 6 feet or so. Thanks for any help!

Matt

From the 172 XTRA LINK2 description:
Maximum number of directly driven IR emitters: Up to two single or two dual emitters using the CPL94B Coupler.

So get another 284M Dual IR emitter (total 4 emitters) or a 282M Single IR emitter (total 3 emitters) plus the CPL94B Coupler.

For a source click here.

Edit: On second thought, I think the XTRA LINK2 package comes with a coupler with 2 emitter ports (see the diagram at the source link) so you might not need the extra CPL94B, you just need the extra emitter.

The Xantech is flawless! We use it on all of our custom installations! With three sources, you will need one dual emitter (purchase from your retailer) and one single (comes with the kit) to connect to the coupler, as hiker has already suggested. If you have trouble finding what you need, PM me, as I have them in stock.

Although more expensive, it is head and shoulders above wireless ir extenders.
