Is Dish launching SNY?

The header says to call and inquire about the availability.

From all that I've read, it's not likely soon that Dish will have SNY.

I called and got someone in India who had no idea what baseball was. Folks, these reps from India may be nice people but I would much prefer to speak to someone who knows what baseball means to the average american, thank you.

Does any else find it ironic that we can’t watch NY baseball but we can watch all the cricket from India that we want?

Probably because they will let them sell it to only those who want it for a fraction of the cost of the PPV package instead of making everyone else who doesn't want it pay for it like the baseball RSNs do.
