Is FTA still a thing

[rinnycoop]

Hey guys,

I have been out of the FTA game for a while now, i believe it was back in 2010,

I wanted to know if this is still a thing today.

If so let me know what i need to get started again.

[comfortably_numb]

Yes.

[FTA4PA]

Yes, still a thing. Do you have any equipment left and if so what? A word of warning though. This site is for legal FTA reception only so no hack talk is allowed. If you are here for legal FTA then welcome aboard!

[rinnycoop]

i have zero equipment, like i said it was a long time ago.

[FTA4PA]

At a minimum you will need a satellite dish at least 90cm (bigger is better), an lnbf and a modern satellite receiver. You can get equipment here.

Barely. Don't ask for numbers. Just don't let those new FCC rules annoy you. And ignore those black helicopters photographing your equipment…..

Much today is encrypted. Before parting with the Benjamins, you might want to see if there's anything still available today of interest to you.

And ignore those black helicopters photographing your equipment…..

Not the black helicopters!!
