Thanks Iceberg, I rescanned and got ONN at Q level peaking at 40%. On my receiver it came in as: Service 1 - SBS6 11733 6616 H 2/3. If 11733 is the Tp number, what does the 6616 H 2/3 mean?

11733 is the frequency of the transponder, 6616 is the symbol rate, H is horizontal polarity, 2/3 is the FEC, or Forward Error Correction. Ratio of error correction data to signal.

Thanks for the Sat references qwert1515, there is a wealth of great info there. Got ONN today at Q levels as high as 86% when it was sunny, and about 65% Q tonight. Seems like 74.0W reception is greatly improved.

While the horizontal signals on Galaxy 17 appear stronger than those on SBS 6, I have yet to see any vertical signals on Galaxy 17. Has anyone seen any vertical signals on Galaxy 17?
