Where doe sa total newbie go to learn from absolute dummy to, "Hey, I can set this thing up?"

My husband just brought home a satellite receiver and I have no clue what lnb, pol, h,v blah blah blah is and I don't want to tought that thing until i have a grounding in what's what!
