Does anyone know of any Philippines programming on KU?

I've been looking around but have not found anything. My sister in law and I were talking about it over Thanksgiving, and I thought that if there was something up there (maybe 97w?), that I might set her up a dish for Christmas to get the programming. Since I don't speak the language I probably wouldn't know what I was looking at even if I were to find it. :o

Thanks in advance!

check lyngsat.com ,it lists free tv from every country. look at the link that says free tv at the bottom and then select Asia as the Continent and then the country. It lists ACQ as the only channel available in NA at 97W Ku but maybe someone knows the location for another channel somewhere not listed yet in lyngsat. you might be better off using those TV over internet services , some channels have links for streaming video on their websites.

GMA Pinoy TV probably the most important one (the only one available here in Canada on Rogers Cable) although it does not have a live streaming service on its website it has plenty of videos divided in small chapters or sections with current programming updated untill even today Dec 4. check that one out , its not broadcast quality but its better than nothing I guess. I hope it helps and Long Live Pacquiao! , lol.

You might take a look at 101w Ku as they have very recently added several channels that may not be listed on Lyngsat yet. I would say they come from the Pacific Rim. Since I don't know the language I don't know where they are from.

Thanks all. She doesn't want to pay for the premium channels on the cable where they live. Apparently a big chunk of money for only one or two she is interested in. I had hoped there would be more up there, but some is better than none, and 97w has a lot of other interesting programming as well.

Brian: What day do you close for Christmas? They are in Elk Grove and I might swing up to Roseville to buy a dish if we get there early enough.

Thanks again.
