Issues with Orbit Communications and VOOM!

Has anyone successfully ordered VOOM service through Orbit Communications. I placed an order over two weeks ago and am still being told my order has not yet shipped because a local installer has not been located. Anyone have this issue? Would I be better off to cancel the Orbit order and just pay the fee to VOOM and have them do everything instead? Please help.....I'm very frustrated at this taking so long!!!!

I don't know anything about Orbit Communications, but you can order through Voom at 1-800-GET-VOOM. Two weeks with no word (now where have I heard that before??) seems like too long.
