i was just wondering if Directv if they install like SD dishes anymore or is it all HD now? are they even going carry Sunday Ticket in SD this year thanks

They are still using the 18" dish. It seems foolish, why not begin transitioning everyone to mpeg4 equipment now.

With HD Tv prices been so low, it is the time to get on board with HD. I don't watch nothing on SD, maybe Chillers or Cloo other than that HD for me. I'm convince once you get your HD you never go back. Good luck to you.

lacubs, even if you have a SlimLine and all HD receivers for your home, they still have SD feeds and that dish/receiver combo will pick it up just like a PhaseI dish, but if you have the choice; get the SlimLine / updated setup

yes they still do SD installs. God knows why but yeah they still do.
Hell I saw a Phase III install the other day. Must wanted the Spanish channels

They still use those in all the 119 local markets for SD only subs...

Minneapolis SD locals are on 101 so I assumed it was for Spanish channels...or they REALLY wanted the Hope Channel
