Just moved to Dish from direct TV. Wife is having a hard time with the search function on 722.
You have to spell most of the show right to get a result
We are not using the exact match and with the old system you could search by channel or time or just one letter like y would list all the shows that begin with y
I search the board and the web and did not find anything that would help. Any help would be appreciated

3 letters should do, if you put a space before your enter your search term it will only show words in the titles that begin with your search term. Same with space after search term
only show words in the titles that end with your search term.

If you connect it to the internet, you can go to the online scheduling in your account online (dishnetwork.com) and search 1000 times better. Try it.
