I have Geosat's 90cm Ku band dish and fought with it when setting the elevation. By hand it either was to much or not enough, or needed three hands. I finally came up with this and it works fine for me. Of course your mileage may vary.

It consists of two (2) turnbuckles and one (1) 3 1/2 inch long stove bolt. Pictures they say are worth a thousand words, so here are a few thousand.

Some Dish and Direct dishes come with fine-adjustment screws. I'm not sure whether the installers ever use them though, or just half-ass it since the signal is so strong and the beamwidth is so wide.

I gotta do something like this on the Channel Master 1 meter.
Wish it also had an adjustable azimuth, As is - have to rotate the NPRM it's on.

Brilliant! I definitely need one of these. A small one for my smaller dishes and a bigger one for the bigger dishes. :D
