Watch Petrified Forest next. It is more a Leslie Howard film, and incredible at that, but it was the film Howard insisted the Petrified Forest Broadway actor get the same role in the Hollywood rendition and was critical in Bogart becoming Bogart.

61* - Hadn't seen this film in decades, since was on the debut schedule on HBO. Goes over the human aspect of the "wrong guy" in the running to break a hallowed record. It is a movie, not a documentary, but seems to do a decent job of covering the story across the 1961 season.
